Mozart's family was already filled talented musicians, his father was Leopold Mozart and his mother was called Anna Maria Mozart. He was born in a place called Salzburg, Mozart was the youngest of 7 siblings, 5 of which died during childhood when they were born. Mozart's baptismal record reveals that his name in Latinised Form is Joannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart. Although he generally liked calling himself Wolfgang Amade Mozart his name had many different variants. His father Leopold Mozart was a native of Augsburg, Leopold was an experienced teacher and a minor composer which made him a suitable coach for Mozart. In 1747 Leopold married Anna Maria in Salzburg. During the time of Amadeus's birth, Leopold published a violin textbook called Versuch einer grundlichen Violinschule, which instantly gained success. During Amadeus's youth his family had several different trips to Europe in which himself and one of his alive older sibling Nannerl performed as child prodigies. In 1769 Leopold and Amadeus made a trip to Italy, at which they left Mozart's mother and Nannerl at home. This trip lasted for two years as Leopold wanted to show off his sons abilities as a musician and a rapid developing composer.

Mozart's career with his family ended in 1781. Well Mozart's intention was to pursue an independent career in Vienna much to his fathers dismay in the end he went anyways. Mozart mostly performed as a pianist. One of his most famous pieces was "The Marriage Of Figaro" which is well known around the globe. Mozart never left his music alone till the day he died in his home of illness on December 5th 1791 (age 35) at 1:00 am. His student Franz Xaver Sussmayr completed his latest piece Requiem for him.
